`Cause I headed East to grow up with the country {sic}

I had another night out in the Stone on Wednesday. I went to the What's Cookin' country night, upstairs at the Sheepwalk pub. We where all a little dubious, as we thought it might be fiddly diddly country. Well, we were pleasantly surprised. The band pictured, this was their first gig as one band, so they have yet to name themselves, they went under the name of Dan Raza band. I thought the lead singer had a James Taylor/Gram Parsons look about him. But More importantly, their music was pretty good. I’ll keep you posted.
We also bumped into Mad Mick; photographed with el-Gavin-o. Mad Mick is a character that we used to see back in the day of the M11 link protests. We all thought he was dead...
